It has to be said that living in France has more than just a few advantages compared to living back in the UK; the weather, the food, the air and water… just to name a few.
However, despite France having so much to offer, from time to time you will probably want to travel, especially being centrally placed for Europe and the rest of the world.
If you do decide to travel, you must remember that your French Domestic Healthcover (CMU) will not cover you outside of France or her territorial limits. This could also include travel back to the UK to visit friends and family.
As with most things, residency plays a part in what options are available to you. The plans are detailed below.
Select the option which meets your needs the best.. if unsure, please contact us
To ensure that you get the best and most suitable option, we have created this page so you can clearly understand which page is best suited to your needs.
“If you are travelling within the European Economic Area (EEA) then please do not forget to make sure your Carte Européenne d'Assurance Maladie (CEAM) is current and valid.”
This can be applied for by contacting your local CPAM.
