Income Protection Insurance
Can I obtain Income protection insurance though I am resident in France?
Unlike most providers, our preferred Income Protection provider can consider a policy for you even though you are permanently resident in France.
So what is Income Protection? An Income Protection Insurance Policy is designed to cover your ongoing financial obligations in the event that you were to suffer an illness or injury, which is serious enough that it necessitates you being away from your work for an extended period of time.
Our recommended policy provides for a generous payment of up to 75% of your annual income once you have been away from work for a period of longer than 3 months, and this benefit will continue to be paid either until you recover, return to work or until the selected retirement age, if the illness or injury is permanent and serious enough that you cannot return to work at all. Additionally, should you be able to return to work, but are unable to work in your previous field of employ due to the injury or illness, and as a result are earning a lesser salary, our policy can pay the difference between your current income and your previous income.
Benefits can be paid in Sterling or Euro.
This Income Protection plan does not have a cash-in or surrender value attached to it
