An E109 is issued where an individual continues working and paying National Insurance contributions in the United Kingdom, and this then, affords health cover for their named dependants.
The E109 is a unique “E” form, in that the named certificate holder is not actually covered by the form itself. So, unlike their named dependants, they themselves have no access to the French health system by affiliation through the E109. |
